SELECTION AND PRESENTATION
OF PAPERS

Papers will be selected for presentation and publication in the CD-ROM of the symposium on the basis of an extended abstract (at least three pages and not more than four pages including equations, figures and/or references).

Abstracts should be submitted in both Word and PDF formats, by email to cht04@cfd.mech.unsw.edu.au.

Submission date for extended abstracts: October 1, 2003

and acceptance (or otherwise) will be notified by November 1, 2003.

Abstracts should be prepared in accordance with the Instructions to Authors. The work should not have been previously presented or published elsewhere.

After review and correction (if necessary) of the extended abstracts, authors will be invited to submit full manuscripts, prepared in accordance with the Instructions to Authors. As suitable papers will be submitted to a journal (see Proceedings) , the usual length limitation will not apply. Instead, authors may use a typical journal length: up to the equivalent of about 20-25 single-spaced typewritten pages in total. This is a rough maximum; papers may be shorter.

Submission date for full papers: January 15, 2004.

Papers should be sent by email in both Word and PDF formats to

cht04@cfd.mech.unsw.edu.au.

Alternatively, and especially if a file containing a paper exceeds about 1 MB, papers may be submitted in the above formats by air mail on a CD or floppy disk, provided it arrives by the specified date to

CHT-04 (GdeVD/EL)
School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering,
The University of New South Wales,
Sydney, AUSTRALIA, 2052.

At the symposium, keynote lectures will be given orally and all contributed papers will be given as poster presentations. Suggestions for the preparation of posters are offered for guidance.
