As part of CHT-04, there will be a special session devoted to the state of the art for verification and validation (V&V) research and applications in computational heat transfer. Internationally recognized experts in this field will give review talks and take part in a moderated panel discussion on this topic, including: The panel will be chaired by Professor Graham de Vahl Davis, The University of New South Wales.

We invite papers from individual contributors in these areas to be presented in a technical poster session. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • methods and results for the verification of codes and models;
  • calculation verification of complete systems;
